There were Leftists before the Soviet Union was attacked by Germany during WWII that wanted the US to stay out of the war because Stalin had split Poland and there was a non-Aggression Pact with Germany. That all changed when Papa Stalin was attacked. The Leftists shifted to -- time to get into the war.
