IMHO the global market share numbers are non-applicable to Apple as they don't even compete in most markets. It is my understanding from limited experience that worldwide, "white boxes" totally dominate PC sales and due to local tariffs and trade barriers it is not even worthwhile to address these markets. Being a selfish conniving kind of guy, my only response to this is to throw an extra new Mac laptop in my suitcase for travel to any foreign country, it could pay for your journey. In Brasil a new branded laptop still commands $3-4K
