It was kind of tone deaf (maybe just stupid) for John Bolton to say he favored the Libya model...

It's like dude, Gaddafi gave up his program and we went in and killed his ass dead. (ok there were a few more moving parts, but that's basically what happened) I'm not saying that would be a bad idea with Kim, but WTF? Don't just come out and tell him that's where you're going with this.
