Good post. I've learned that proper governance and BOD common shareholder representation is #1. Most of these penny executives could care less about retail common as long as they can raise cash to push "the science", and make good salaries.
Look for track records of honestly and supporting retail shareholders. Fiduciary Duty can be tricky but the BOD must have a real history of doing the right thing by common shareholders. And I don't mean common's with other greater stakes in the game, I mean us - the Retail holder.
So far from what I've seen this leadership scores near zero.
