LOUISVILLE, CO--(MARKET WIRE)--Oct 17, 2006 -- GlobeImmune, Inc. announced today that the interim results from a placebo-controlled Phase 1b study of GI-5005 in patients chronically infected with hepatitis C virus will be presented at the 57th Annual Meeting of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) on Monday, October 30 in the Late Breaking Poster session. About GI-5005

Tarmogens™ (Targeted Molecular Immunogens) are a proprietary, immunotherapeutic platform utilizing whole, heat-killed recombinant Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast genetically modified to express disease-specific protein targets. The GI-5005 Tarmogen expresses an NS3-Core fusion protein.
