JusticewillWin: I dont believe everything they tell us...for example the fact that they mention in the background of the merger that WMIH walked away...
because NSM was not giving them enough time for DD.

I read it like...

KKR: hey NSM gives us more time that way...we will bring WMIH BOD to its knees accepting a conversion of $1.35 instead of paying $1.75-$2.25 a share.

NSM: OK we will wait but no more than January... & the deal was sealed on Feb 13th.
