I regret making the post not because it was false (it wasn't) but because my original plan was to ask Rory for his feedback after his meetings are over this week and I didn't honor that. I also regret because apparently some people read way more into it than was intended as shown by the reactions to it. I foolishly thought that by not sharing the links the information was likely to have a relatively minor response, as it amounted to an unevidenced claim.

Two of our top 2 posters and a few others addressed the post by not denying that it could be done - but AFFIRMING that it could be done - while at the same time putting their perspective on the matter - ie its HOW the technology is being used to create a scalable business that is valuable here and not just the fact that the technology in its raw form can be duplicated to some extent.

That's a good discussion that - it appears - is needed not just for me but for anyone else that found my post concerning. I like a board with actual real discussions.
