When you think how archaic the Sales Process is and has been for 5000 years, then consider the most lucrative industry in the World today, Pharmaceuticals, a person might connect a new innovative, interactive sales technique as having some potential to help generate some serious $$$.
Currently, pharma reps make between 3 and 12 or more 2 minute appointments with Doctors per day. There is an army of them for each pharma company that drives around to Doctors offices in hopes the Doctor can spare a minute between patients. These meetings often take place in hallways walking with the Doctor as he tries to divide his attention under the enormous pressures of life, death and lawsuits. Not a perfect sales environment. It is what it is.
The appointment may not result in a meeting however and sometimes has to be rescheduled due to time conflicts with needy patients and overworked medical facilities. This is pharma sales and account for about a trillion dollars a year in revenue Worldwide.
Large pharma companies have thousands of sales reps who can make as much or more than 100k per year.
It makes one wonder if a Doctor had a choice between the rushed, hectic ineffective hallway rendezvous’ where he doesn’t have his questions formed in his own mind let alone answered properly or to be able to sit quietly in his office or on his own time somewhere and really find the answers he needs to save lives and feel good about his profession, which choice do you think he would make?
nFusz has so many important, underserved needs, just waiting to be filled, Rory may go to Hawaii but he won’t spend much time lounging on the beach because the World is going to be keeping him a little busy for the foreseeable future. Sorry Rory, it’s just the way it is.
