The corruption has so many layers that it would make the core of an onion jealous.

There is so much corruption that simple questions nearer the core get ignored, such as his obvious conflicts of interest with his scams in corporations he has not given up control of. When he invites the prime minister of japan over for a chat, how much money ends up in trump's pocket each time? Mar a lago isn't a not-for-profit.

Carter sold his beloved peanut farm just to avoid the APPEARANCE of any possible conflict of interest, for chrissakes. Blind trusts are the usual way that conflicts are avoided.

Trump doesn't give a shit, he shoves active conflicts of interest in our faces, but doesn't understand that the american way is to stand up to a bully, and even though the republican party is incapable of doing so, I think the American people will, given an opportunity, which may not happen until fall.
