Thanks, using the HA bars on QT daily looks to really cut out the anxiety of the standard candlesticks. Also, trading in the "direction of" (post #34499) sounds good too. I had been thinking something along the line of a three day since there are some two day bar sets of opposite color.

As for back testing, take a three day chart for the Qs using HA bars and you would have been long since 7/26. Other indexes I am tied to have some short moves in August but not for much time.

Just a thought.
