So now President Trump is to blame for the Flint water crisis? This happened in 2015 and Trump was not President, Obama was!

Why not blame the idiots in charge for diverting Lake Huron water to Flint River water? The city of Flint was over 30 million dollars in debt. Flint could not continue paying Detroit for their water.

As you will see in the above video, many of those affected were white, not African Americans.

The loss of GM jobs devastated the city.

The decision to switch the water supply began back in 2013 and in March of 2014 the switch was made. On Oct. 13, 2014, GM stopped using the water because it wasn't good enough to make cars. GM brought in their own water source FROM Detroit. GM paid for the switch.

THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN A HUGE RED FLAG THAT THE WATER WAS NOT SAFE!

The DUMB Flint Mayor, Dayne Walling, a Democrat, lied to the people telling the Flint water was safe! He even drank the water on TV telling Flint residents the water was safe. But samples told a different story.

It cost $12 million to switch the water source back to Detroit. In Nov. of 2015 the federal government finally got involved.

As the tragedy of the Flint water-contamination crisis leaks out to the world, Gov. Rick Snyder and his staff have worked hard to downplay, spin, ignore and outright lie about the problems, which stem from disastrous choices by the state and the governor's emergency manager appointee.

This short film by the ACLU of Michigan exposes the truth behind Snyder's waffling, the emergency manager's horrific decision to abandon clean water provided by Detroit in favor of using the corrosive Flint River as the city's water source.

BUT even returning to Detroit for their water has not solved the problem. Pipes were corroded by the lead and need to be replaced. Who is going to pay for this disastrous man-made mistake?
