White House talking to Waffle House hero about Trump meeting



The White House has reached out to arrange a potential meeting between President Trump and James Shaw Jr., the man who confronted a gunman at a Waffle House in Tennessee.

"My understanding is that there has been an outreach effort to bring him here to the White House and I'll keep you updated on that as I have more information," White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said during the Tuesday press briefing.
