mr40 -- mm-hmm -- and then watch what happens to that entirely statutory/not Constitutionally-mandated 72-year rule if/when the Teaflublicans control both houses of Congress and the White House following the 2020 census which included the citizenship question -- and never mind that recently-red states like Texas, as well as e.g. deep-blue California, will be substantially shortchanged in subsequent allocations of federal funding due to the undercount produced by the 2020 census which included the citizenship question

what the Constitution does require is a census of all persons, not just citizens, in the country (a difference in/distinction between terms that was clearly understood and intended by the framers of the Constitution) -- that definitely should be, and hopefully will prove to be, more than sufficient for our courts to rule that the inclusion of the citizenship question in the 2020 census, at least under our contemporary facts and circumstances, would be clearly and plainly unconstitutional
