Even the not-so-young might consider devoting $10k to trading this strategy. I wouldn't mind an extra million in my golden years.

Good point about the Rydex funds - no transaction fees.

Think of the leverage you would get trading just one futures contract. One ES contract "costs" about $4000 in margin but is worth about $65,000.
