verizon's "big investment" was just giving away moviefone, which they probably would have done for free I doubt it was making any money. Giving them stock was just an added bonus. Subscribers haven't reached 3 million yet which is disappointing. The 10k filing was really bad, hmny now owns 91.8% of moviepass. Moviepass doesn't have much left to give away for funding. They're not anywhere close to breaking even with the secondary revenue sources. Mitch lowe came out and said they don't sell data so they don't even get money from that.

I don't think shorts have anything to worry about unless MP gets a deal with AMC, Regal or Cinemark which doesn't look like it's happening anytime soon. Without more funding, probably at some ridiculously low value like before, it's only a matter of time before they run out of money. They are going to need a miracle at this point.
