Actually, I would enjoy that, they were self-sufficient and lived a wonderful life. My gr-gr-grandparents had ten children and all survived.
They were farmers and also raised pigs, chickens, goats and dairy cows.
They didn't have the stress families have today, no bills to pay.
Check out the Amish, they continue to live without electricity.
I do have solar roof panels so I rarely get an electric bill.
