Sparks, if you would look through the ibox (arguably very limited.. I'm the one that put it together a while back and that's not my specialty)... people are buying up speculating that a merger is a potential outcome here. No different than you speculating that AVXL will get FDA approval, or whatever your beliefs are there.. and buying shares in ADVANCE of a news release because you don't want to miss the gap that would come supposing things play out as predicted.

The run started on reinstatement and as per usual with reinstated stocks, as people research new management and get an idea what they believe is going to happen they start buying if they like it. If you were to do some volume analysis on LDSI and look at the old filings from 2012, in my opinion the FLOAT is only 273million, very small for a stock that started at trip1. So that combined with many people like me holding many millions of shares to see what the outcome is leads to a very thin stock. Anybody that wants to put on big size is going to have to run it up to get their fill.. supply vs. demand.

The timing is also right IMO. Generally after a reinstatement it takes months before things start coming to fruition where it can be seen. Bigger players know this and have a feel for what time frame to start loading a stock to expose themselves to risk for the shortest amount of time possible. Combine that with growing volume and you start hitting scanners, then day traders start playing and the volume continues to grow.

All this is in my own opinion. You are obviously entitled to your own as well, but your approach on this board to other posters so far isn't going to get you a friendly response from anyone with their thoughts, DD, or answers you seek included.

Good luck to you sir
