Then let us really be compassionate on both sides of the aisle.

All illegal aliens become legal aliens. Permanent residents. But cannot vote.

Ex-cons cannot vote--- and every illegal alien would be convicted in a court of law if they went through the process. So, instead of convicting them, incarcerating them and then getting released after serving their time, they skip all that.

They become Permanent residents without the right to vote. Just like a US citizen would LOSE their right to vote if they were convicted of a crime.

Why not? Would that not be fair? Their children born in the US can vote (DACA) after, say, ten years. But not the adult aliens that broke the law.
