I first mentioned this possibility as a lark on March 23... but maybe this new ruling may indeed become a reality (and a big stuffing right in the Corfo nose and a bigger stuffing right up Morgan-Stanley's pooper). Click here

This would be great, SQM could come back (from Atacama) to our quiet picturesque happy Maricunga town and be our nice happy less-stressed neighbor once more. We would once again gladly see SQM peeps back at the local grocery supermarkets/shops, supporting the local businesses here, at the PTA meetings at school, and helping keep the local city clean/up-to-date/vibrant. Plus the entire playing field for all lithium miners would be nearly level once again.
