Why Are Junior Preferred Shares Headed Down & Common Shares Going Up!

Market thinks slightly lower risk of f&f being liquidated.

Liquidation would make preferred whole, but give commons zero. As that fear lifts preferred don't go up because they already were going to be made whole, but common value rises from previous expectation of zero.
