So NSM has a history of servicing loans of other companies without having to actually own the loans.

I think this is the model that NSM will use to service WMI loans.

All the ideas that WMIH / NSM will acquire the loans in exchange of WMIH shares make absolutely no sense. I certainly don't want to exchange my escrows with WMIH currency. We may as well seli out our loans to some other companies even at a big discount.

But better off, we want to keep the value of the loans by letting WMIH/NSM servicing them profitably and we will also profit with WMIH/NSM shares, a double profit. But WMIH/NSM does not have to own the loans but it should use the WMI / WMB model of the old WAMU day.

It's kind of funny that JPM while in a hurry to steal a bank, never studied the company that it seized in depth and seized the wrong division and took WMB which has a bunch of brick and mortar bank branches, while leaving out WMI which is the guy who owned the real thing.
