They should never have to go that far tho. That is the whole purpose behind the 3 day settlement rule. At the end of the 3 days the shares are supposed to be in your brokers inventory held in a street name for you.

So I don't understand why now, months later a couple of brokerage houses are having trouble verifying the BKMP common that should have divies attached to them. Unless I am missing here in the conversation....which is entirely possible!!!
