The SEC is willing to investigate short selling for two reasons -- first, when naked short-selling has been involved, as may well be the case here, and/or second, when patently false information about the targeted company has been disseminated by short sellers or those they potentially work for. Imo, that is what may warrant investigation here! GLTA!
