I would do just what i said. Try talkjng ti a few other brokers. Tell each one of them you want them ti handke your holdings. Tell each one of them about this problem with your shares and your intent to buy the Certs. If you can get certs. The other, new firm, can get those shares into yiur new account with them. I would go with the stringest hardest firm willing to do what they can to get those shares into your new account. Over the years i had MANY furms wanted my business. Something smelos like shit in what your being told by td. It dont sound right. Move and move fast. Trust me, another firm will help you.
