How significant is the canine approval?

It is my opinion that this is an important piece of the validation puzzle for the technique on the whole. If the big question is "Does listeria-based immunotherapy work for cancer treatment?" Before the dog approval, we did not have any sense from the regulators that the answer might be "yes."

Post-approval in dogs, we now know that people are confident enough to spend money on it. Other questions remain, as this isn't Axal. But to me the crucial first questions relating to listeria working AT ALL have now been answered. So it takes a lot of uncertainty out for me, even if the market doesn't see it yet.

I was hoping it would lead right into children's therapy with a pharma. Wonder if adxs is pursuing that anymore?

It seems to be not the case at this time, although I imagine it's on their radar.
