"My advice is to take a breather from watching the tape. If the fundamentals are strong, the share price will take care of itself in due course." Hear,hear!...Only wish it were that easy. I must say that what I think the prospects for this company are and what the market thinks are way out of sync. Granted the LFB collaboration will take awhile to bear fruit but one can't imagine a better platform for replacing plasma fractionation. I would think that it won't be long before another product candidate will be announced for trials thru LFB, probably rhAAT. Near term GTC has plenty of cash. Midterm they need more Merrimack like deals. Would the rhA development process take as long as the other products in the pipeline? Afterall it's just an excipient and blood expander and has no real therapeutic action but does have a large potential market. Additionally, the backing of say the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for the MSP-1 vaccine while not providing a financial windfall for the company could go a long ways toward creating visibility.
