Thank you for that insight. Any thoughts as to why?

I've noticed direct competitors (such as Spiber) and bigger biotech players have patented processes, products, and even methods in regards to spider silk. My concerns are that if KBLB has something proprietary shouldn't they be "protecting" it with a patent? Has there been any discussion as to why patents aren't being used? Trademarks do not protect the product. They just protect the name of the product.
