Per the IPO document, Surmodics held 1,160,400 shares before the offering. If their additional investment of 1.5M Euros was at the offering price (which looks like it was 4.65 Euros/share) that raises their total shares held to 1,483,000 shares - if my math is right.

4.65 Euros converts to $5.85 USD. Their $5.8M USD investment appears to be worth $8,675,000.
