but well into the Mtns. We hauled water, chopped wood and practiced
for the most part. The rare fugitive might occasion by, but we were pretty well known and accessible,
and in fact the FBI would show up once or twice a year in futile pursuit of some "radical."

It was always a stark contrast to travel to the big time ski resorts for weekend gigs,
where we were housed in upscale condominiums with RUNNING water and modern stoves.
