Here Is The Real Reason Democrats Are Terrified Of ‘The FISA Memo’ Being Released …

Why are Congressional Democrats calling the release of “the memo” a smokescreen? They were the ones who demanded an investigation of the president that they now claim was based on the drunken rant of a 28-year old campaign stringer in a London bar.

And they are the ones who have been leaking like a sieve since the inception of this investigation.

Their investigation of the president has not turned up a single shred of credible or significant evidence that the president had done anything illegal.

If that investigation hasn’t been a smokescreen then the definition of the word has changed.

So the American people, as well as President Trump, have been made to endure what has proven to be a witch-hunt without an underlying crime.
This is in the finest traditions of Lavrentiy Beria who served as Marshal of the Soviet Union and state security administrator, chief of the Soviet security and secret police apparatus (NKVD) under Joseph Stalin.

Beria infamously said, “Show me the man and I’ll find you the crime.”

It would appear that special counsel Robert Mueller and his lead prosecutor Andrew Weisman are disciples of Beria.

In fact, the entire history of the Democratic Party has been based on the character assassination of their political opponents in their never-ending march towards turning the United States into a Marxist “utopia.”

They cannot engage in reasoned debate and win.

This was proven in the most unexpected way during the 2016 presidential campaign. Americans had finally experienced enough pain caused by Dems’ socialist policies that they voted for a rough and tumble street fighter who bluntly told them the unvarnished truth.

Now that the smokescreen of corruption is clearing and Trump is scoring one victory after another for the American people the Democrats cling to their last hope that Mueller will find something to implicate Trump in wrongdoing.

As Congressional investigators have discovered the truth about corruption at the DOJ and the FBI, and they are going through the process of clearing the procedural hurdles necessary to make their findings public, Dems are crying foul – that this is a partisan witch-hunt because not a single Democrat voted to release the memo.

Sorry, that dog won’t hunt. What has Mueller’s investigation been if not a partisan witch-hunt?

We defended Peter Strzok against charges of bias under the premise that if his hatred of Trump leads to a more zealous investigation that would be a good thing. Nunes and Congressional Republicans deserve the same consideration.

But that view is a one-way street for Dems. Don’t dare question their actions. They’re above reproach don’t you know.

Mueller has done everything in his power to avoid investigating whether Russian collusion or other illegalities might’ve occurred with the other candidate and her party because he knew that they had.

Instead he focused his investigation exclusively on taking down Trump.

Now the DOJ has sent a letter to the committee that prepared the memo asking that they not release it.

What are they afraid of?

Well, I doubt the KGB would be willing to give the Russian citizens any insight into how they operate either.

Assistant Attorney General Stephen Boyd wrote, “We believe it would be extraordinarily reckless for the Committee to disclose such information publicly without giving the Department and the FBI the opportunity to review the memorandum and to advise the HPSCI of the risk of harm to national security and to ongoing investigations that could come from public release.”

NOTE: Stephen Boyd currently serves as the United States Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legislative Affairs. Boyd was nominated by President Donald Trump for the position of Assistant Attorney General. He was confirmed to this position by the United States Senate on August 3, 2017.

Huh? That’s an excuse that the KGB would use. National security, ongoing investigations? What about protecting the sacred rights of Americans against unlawful prosecution without a basis in fact?

Under Obama, the FBI and the DOJ have been turned into political weapons. Investigations were ignored or squashed for political consideration.

Now we have clear and convincing evidence that both the FBI and the DOJ were turned against innocent people in the hope of finding a crime. Not just against Donald Trump, either. But, 30,000 times during the Obama administration! Add that to the IRS abuses.

There should be nothing more troubling than that to Americans – no matter their political bent.

What are they afraid of?

The Dems are panicked that an investigation into the FBI and DOJ will completely unmask them as Marxists – not simply socialists. Socialists wouldn’t channel Lavrentiy Beria.

Only Marxists would refuse to investigate wrongdoing by their intelligence agencies.

Yesterday provided a striking contrast between what is and what would’ve been. On the day the Democrats were scrambling to obscure their criminal corruption of the FBI and DOJ President Trump agreed to meet with Robert Mueller and answer questions under oath.

For some reason Hillary was never required to testify under oath. Nor were any of her criminal co-conspirators who were given immunity.

Obama promised transparency. We may finally get it.
