Jerry - Computers.
I have a computer that my son build for me about 7 years ago. I bought all parts from Newegg. ASUS MB, AMD 8 core, 16 GB memory, Win 7 Pro

Now a days, building computer and buying Windows software for it does not save much. So, I would suggest following.

Intel i5 or equivalent AMD processor.
16 GB memory.
250 GB Hard drive (SSD would be preferable)
Windows 10 Pro


(1) If there is local computer repair place. See if they have used one that meets above requirements and meets your price point.

(2) Ebay has several vendors that sell new or refurbished (HP, DELL, LENOVO)computers that meets above requirements for under $500.

(3) I have 3 HP 9470m elite laptops i5 to i7, 8bg-16gb memory, Win 10 Pro that I bought from eBay each under $200. I am able to run TOS on them without any problem, which I do when I am visiting family.

When you buy from eBay, you have to make sure that Win license is individual and not corporate.
