I don't know why genetic drift is an issue this far into the process.



Sloppy husbandry. Someone mixed the worms up and didn't keep up regular testing, even though it's a simple test.

If you don't hire professionals, you get amateur work. Recall the Russian news video. Those employees didn't scream 'research quality' to me.
