until the steel mill shut down and they reinvented the place.

One night we were playing in a club owned by the Pueblo "family."
The bigs from the Denver family showed up to play Barboot, which is a dice game that was popular in the '60's and 70's.

The two families adjourned to the private gaming room in the basement. After a while, a fight erupted between them and it spilled into the club where we were performing.
Someone called the cops, but when they showed up, the combatants stopped fighting with each other and in unity turned on the arriving cops!
