How much can it cost to litigate 100+ patents? $10, $20, $50 million? Can't Momenta afford this if the potential is in billions?

No clues what the hell have they claimed in each of those patents. Copaxone 40 mg had 4-5 patents with 'exactly' same claims. House of cards!

ABBV is ready to settle (as seen by the AMGN settlement) despite of those 100+ patents. Clearly they see the threat of invalidation of key patents if they don't settle. A good legal firm and some money is all it takes.
