I agree with Mustang. I believe that Verb’s intent is the development of the software.
Healthcare computer systems are all like silos; there is very little communication between them. There are a few “gathering” programs that can mine data from other systems but cannot utilize the info, just house and display it. There is nothing out there equivalent to what Verb is considering.
I think the driving force between Google and JNJ coming together was Google‘s desire to have a partner that was savvy of the environment.
My theory has always been that Verb is developing the equivalent of Microsoft office; multiple modules that can interact, interface, and share data. This can occur locally (in the OR), regionally (within a healthcare system), and nationally for the accrual of data and improved patient outcomes.
