Take intuitive software platform. It’s limited to them, only their software people can improve or enhance it. It’s unable to communicate w other surgical robots within the OR.

Take a Verb, they will havv a Platform that is open, will allow robots and devices to communicate/collect/share data. It will also be more open to improvement in the software from users and other software developers. It can also license their software out , which they plan to do anyway.
