The financial geniuses running the economy have securitized nearly every form of debt known to man, and sold it to everyone and anyone wanting yield greater than offered by us treasuries or bank savings. That covers a lot of people. This isn't a new phenomenon, so why is it being allowed to happen again? Is it ignorance? Not hardly.

The 2008 crash and what caused it should still be fresh in their minds. Their plan is to make it to all happen again. They've placed enough of their cohorts in positions of power and eliminated enough regulations to ensure that it does.
