Agree with a lot of what you say. There are so many things that drive a stock price. I love that it is a pure market. I sell to someone that wants to buy. Perfect. Canopy is rising on legalization, corporate growth rate, future earnings, first mover, superior management, global position and momentum. Again, doesn’t mean it is not overpriced at this point in time. Regarding your comments on equities as a whole ... I believe interest rates will rise, but slowly and orderly. In the US, our debt is dependent on low rates, otherwise our deficit will soar. Regarding inflation ... this initially hurts equity prices, but long term ... quality stocks ... adjust for inflate since they sell goods or services in the world of this inflation. Historically, stocks are a good long term inflation hedge. Good luck to you, and I totally agree that protecting your position is job one. I locked in profit with my Canopy sale. And for me that was the right move.
