sortagreen -- good to hear, thx
down here, and across the southern tier generally, the big winter concern is ice -- over the years I've seen/driven through more than one area just hit by a 1/2" to 1" and greater ice storm where virtually every single tree over 10' or 15' high was at least topped if not totally down -- one time saw a whole stretch of trees in a median, that had gotten all frozen together and were already all badly slumping over together, all finish slumping all the way to the ground together at once, with plenty of loud pops, bangs and cracks as it happened -- have heard of folks being without power for weeks in locations bullseyed by such events
