My day is off to a GREAT start.
I had an inspiration when I woke up. Why not put all the little garbage bags into a big black one and put that by the side of the road? That way I didn't have to worry about the lid getting blown off again. Turned on all the outside lights, threw on a jacket, hat, and gloves, put my Yaktrax on over my sneakers, and headed for the street. Got everything in the bag, tied it up, and put it by the side of the road. Five minutes after I got in the house, the garbage truck arrived and took the bag away.


Happy girl.
The wind wasn't bad. If it stays that way, I'll do some shoveling a little later.
