You can only define a emerging bull market after the fact.

this isn't entirely true, you know. in dec 01, after reading lots of folks (like roach) and lots of gold bulls, i was convinced of their reasons for predicting the beginning of a gold bull market, and started investing. pulled out a bit the following march (after the fast runup), but then continued dip buying since then.

as someone else has pointed out, this strategy (which is in my "longterm portfolio" beat all the in's and out's in tech, and all the false starts, and all of the daily babysitting. and probably also beat it on a percentage basis as well (hui from 30's to 190's).

actually, it feels more like "investing" too.

anyway, its the liquidity, d00d.
