I don't agree with his opinion about the trading stops - the government or whatever is not limiting any upside or downside at all. If someone wants to buy all the shares at $40, the worst that would happen is he has to take a 5 to 10 min break...

I mean halting trades for a short period of time does absolutely nothing to stop trades that traders want to make, it just delays them a little

Buying low, selling high is a tough way to make free money, this is easier.
