Volume could be the new ETF or institutions getting in ahead of the new year, when more will be coming from FDA.

I'm also intrigued by the large April 3.00 call volume.

Last time someone made a big bet on 3.00 calls was before the big FDA announcement at the end of July, and those calls were for a month or two out.
