Perhaps a "Silver Lining"

I always get a little upset when companies start handing out dilutional stock at bargain basement prices. I do own a large chunk of this stock. But actually I feel better about this deal than the last one. In this one if you stop and think about it they are getting quite a bit in return.

The transgenic plasma protien market is going to be huge, many billions. To form a partnership with a company which is a "player" in this field is going to greatly accelerate GTCBs emergence as a principal in the production portion of the market, ie. the most important part of the equation. GTCB has already found out how difficult this road is to travel alone. Check their history for the last ten years. GTCB is getting a bone thrown its way (the factor VII deal); but the important part is the strategic alliance. Lets be candid, GTCB is tops in transgenics, but doesn't seem to know squat about the clinical, political, or financial aspects of what they do. They need a wise big-little brother. IMHO
