BUD should bounce on Monday on this news. I have not done the math yet.

It's pretty funny that 23 of 1097 pages were devoted to the liquor tax breaks. Here is the entire bill:

The section on liquor info starts on page 316. That's about beer and then wine. Spirits start on 333 and get more to the point on 336 and end on 339.

Here is a question:

BUD had lobbyists pushing for this, so it's unclear to me what benefits they expect to derive from it?

If each of their craft breweries are classified individually, this will be very impactful for them.

It may also be very impactful overall.


I have not done the "potential" math yet, because I am unsure about what applies to BUD and what doesn't. But they will certainly derive benefits. That's why they hired the lobbyists.
