Also I am going to test soon if the wallet address in the configuration as I documented needs a new address for each transaction or not. In a few days I will try to move more coins to my wallet with the original setup wallet address and see if it is reusable.
From what I've read and did last night, you can reuse addresses, but plusone says not to for security reasons. It looks like I'm up and running successfully too. I'll kick it on tonight before I go to bed. I do have another slightly older system and considering loading all of this on there and have that one run so I can see if I'm increasing my utility bill or not. And it'll keep me from roasting my main computer. Plus I'll check out your link about happy and multi systems.

Well, it stands to reason pluscoins wants their cut, so they suggest pulling some out occasionally.

I'm wondering if at some point plusone will allow real bitcoin mining, or maybe they already do and the happy account we're running is 'playcoin', only valuable to advfn and plusonecoin internally. Due to the unrealistic returns of this POC mining, it's clear it's demo. advfn and Ihub are just using this as an intro to folks. For now.

And GPU is the way to go. I know a few people had multiple machines with 3 gpu's minimum (nvidia) in SLI and they were running all the time. My friends are not professional miners. The comments about electricity are true when running mining farm servers like that. GPU handle the threading differently than a main cpu when it comes to bitcoin mining.

Thanks and GL
