This is a 12 week readout. We need to see the 36 week readout to see if there is further improvement in fatty liver. They have seen up to 50% reduction in liver fat at this time point. Will there be a plateau level above normal at the end of treatment? Or could their be a biphasic response with further lowering? Or will it be continuous?

Same question for the resolution of fibrosis, including the time frame for such.

Paul Friedman discussed resolution of fibrosis in HCV infected patient liver after antiviral treatment, and he stated that fibrosis resolution took around 9 months, and I do not know if that meant complete resolution.

Does anyone know any details or publications on fibrosis resolution in such treated HCV infected patients?
