AGN is playing word games. RVNC defines duration as the amount of time during which a patient has not yet returned to baseline. AGN claims duration is merely the amount of time a patient remains at peak effect.

RVNC’s definition of duration is consistent with how most patients decide when to get retreated with botulinum toxin, and hence it has more practical relevance in the marketplace than AGN’s definition.
