Scientology is a self-improvement lifetime course. Not a real religion. There is no worship--except the worship of L.Ron Hubbard.

I had family members that got involved--and eventually left--Scientology. One elderly relative was preyed upon to donate money when he started to get confused about basic things. Thousands of dollars appeared on his credit card bills to the "Church of Scientology". Fraud investigation threat resulted in the money being returned. Elder financial abuse is rampant.

Yes, I would support anyone--Democrat or Republican--who pledged writing and sponsoring a bill to revoke the Scientology tax exempt status.

(If anyone on this board is a Scientologist, my apologies for being so blunt. But stealing from senior citizens is a line that should never be crossed).
