I agree there is some weirdness here with LXU. They seem to be doing the right things lately, reducing the number of board members, selling non-core assets and parts of the business that are not part of their future (profit) strategy. It was weird when they decided to formally announce that the company was not for sale in July of this year, right after an underwhelming ER. Stupid. But maybe they know what they are doing - cresting opportunities for insiders to buy cheap shares and then make 100% gains 6 months to a year later. You get burned if you are short term investor/swing trader or shorting this and you benefit if you are in at the right price at the right time. The comforting thing is that this is a real company with a good book value, so if you are down you just wait it out and it comes back up. I'm waiting for $10s to come back so it looks like it will be 3-6 months more. Would like to see that gap get filled from the July 25th drop.
